  • Selling wine products to restaurants, bars, hotels, liquor stores, or other venues where alcohol is served.
  • Establishing relationships with potential clients to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Creating marketing plans and promotional materials, such as brochures and direct mail pieces, to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Interacting with customers to answer questions about product features, benefits, and tastes.
  • Developing relationships with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of wines in store inventory.
  • Preparing bids for new business opportunities, including identifying target markets, analyzing competition, and estimating sales potential
  • Applying knowledge of wine production techniques to select wines that meet the client’s needs.
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Monitor competitor activity and report findings to management
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing customers
  • Manage administrative tasks related to customer accounts, including order entry and invoicing.
  • Asist with the day to day running of the winery.
